The two-channel inline UV photometer Model UVI-II measures the UV absorption of process liquids.
The Model UVS-1 inline photometer operates on the principle of dual-channel light absorption to measure the color of liquids. The sensor optics incorporate two LEDs with different wavelengths. The probe measures the absorption caused by turbidity and UV-absorbing substances.
Turbidity is typically measured in the NIR range. Mathematical operations are used to determine the UV value, eliminating the influence of turbidity.
The UVS-1 sensor enables simultaneous, precise measurement of absorption at two different wavelengths. Its measurement principle eliminates interference from turbidity, window soiling, LED aging, etc. The integrated LEDs have a significantly longer lifespan than other light sources, ensuring extended service life. The measuring range extends from 0 to 0.1 absorption units to 0 to 5 absorption units.
The sensor window is made of sapphire, and the probe housing is manufactured from high-grade 1.4404 stainless steel. Many other materials are available upon request. The device can be integrated into the process using a ball valve, flange, or similar connection. We offer customized solutions tailored precisely to your needs. (This allows the sensor to be precisely configured to provide you with the best possible solution.)
The Messenger (MSG) signal amplifier is compatible with all optical sensors from the Chemtronic and Monitek series. It supports the simultaneous operation of up to four single-channel sensors, while allowing each sensor to operate independently. Individual sensor signals can be freely linked, enabling applications such as automated dosing systems.
The system is configured via a PC or laptop using intuitive software. As an option, the Messenger is available with an integrated panel PC for local operation and visualization. This flexible architecture ensures seamless integration into industrial process control systems.
