UVI-II (Dual-Wavelength) measures UV absorption directly in the process and compensates for interfering influences by using two defined wavelengths. This enables continuous and reliable monitoring of concentration changes in dissolved organic substances.
Oil, dissolved organic compounds, and other UV-active substances absorb light at specific wavelengths, resulting in measurable changes in the optical spectrum. The UVI-II (Dual-Wavelength) inline UV photometer uses this principle by illuminating the process medium simultaneously with two defined wavelengths.
By comparing the absorbed light intensities at both wavelengths, the system compensates for interfering influences such as turbidity or color changes within the medium, ensuring stable and reproducible measurement results. This enables concentration changes of organic substances to be detected directly in the process without sampling, allowing deviations to be identified early and process conditions to be monitored continuously.
The UVI-II (Dual-Wavelength) measures UV absorption continuously using two defined wavelengths to detect concentration changes of dissolved organic substances directly within the process. Dual-wavelength compensation minimizes the influence of turbidity and color variations, ensuring stable, reproducible measurements and reliable detection of process deviations in real time.
The Messenger (MSG) signal amplifier is compatible with all optical sensors from the Chemtronic and Monitek series. It supports the simultaneous operation of up to four single-channel sensors, while allowing each sensor to operate independently. Individual sensor signals can be freely linked, enabling applications such as automated dosing systems.
The system is configured via a PC or laptop using intuitive software. As an option, the Messenger is available with an integrated panel PC for local operation and visualization. This flexible architecture ensures seamless integration into industrial process control systems.
