Oil films and hydrocarbon-based contaminants after the optical properties at the interface between air and liquid. The UVS-1 (Dual-Wavelength) uses this effect to continuously monitor the liquid surface with two defined wavelengths. By comparing the measured signals, the system reliably detects floating oil films while distinguishing them from surface disturbances such as waves, reflections, or other environmental influences.

The UVS-1 (Dual-Wavelength) continuously monitors liquid surfaces using optical dual-wavelength technology. Surface changes are detected immediately without direct contact with the medium or manual sampling. This enables early detection of floating oil films and ensures reliable monitoring of industrial facilities, wastewater systems, and environmentally sensitive areas.

Oil films and hydrocarbons cause characteristic optical changes at the liquid surface. The UVS-1 (Dual-Wavelength) continuously detects these changes using two defined wavelengths. This enables stable, reproducible measurement values that reliably identify oil films and detect surface changes at an early stage.

Messenger Model (MSG)

Description

The Messenger Signal Amplifier is compatible with all optical sensors from the Chemtronic and Monitek product ranges. It allows up to four single-channel sensors to operate simultaneously, while also supporting the independent operation of different sensor types. Individual measurement signals can be freely linked, making the system ideal for applications such as automated dosing control.

Configuration is carried out via a PC or laptop using intuitive menu-guided software. As an option, the Messenger is available with an integrated Panel PC, providing a complete standalone solution for industrial process monitoring and control.
